KÖK Development Program Honored at International CSR Excellence Awards

We achieved a significant international milestone with our KÖK Development Program, launched to support women engineering students in their transition to professional life.
Following the graduation of its first cohort last year, the KÖK Development Program received an award in the “Equal Opportunities” category at the CSR Excellence Awards, one of the world’s respected award programs, during the ceremony held in London on June 1.
Organized in the United Kingdom, the CSR Excellence Awards recognize organizations for their achievements in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, diversity, and social impact, highlighting the positive contributions they make to society and the environment.
Now in its second year, the KÖK Development Program continues to support women engineering students in food, agricultural, and chemical engineering by enhancing their professional and personal competencies with a focus on the food and beverage industry. Following the strong interest received in its first year, the program has expanded its capacity and will welcome 125 aspiring women engineers this year.
Participants selected for the KÖK Development Program will once again have the opportunity to learn about the full value chain of the food and beverage industry—from field to table—through a sustainability perspective, guided by expert academics and thought leaders. Through case studies, inspirational sessions, and personal development workshops, participants will gain new perspectives while being introduced to innovative and forward-looking approaches.
