Museum Award from Europe for Istanbul Modern

Istanbul Modern, which we, as Türk Tuborg, have been proudly supporting since 2015, has won the “Portimão Museum Award for Hospitality, Inclusion and Belonging” at the European Museum of the Year Awards (EMYA).

Istanbul Modern was selected by the EMYA jury as one of the museums of the year in Europe for its commitment to social responsibility, inclusivity, sustainability, intercultural dialogue, and democratic values. The museum’s efforts to make modern and contemporary art accessible to diverse audiences—through its collection, exhibitions, and programs—stood out as a key factor in the evaluation process. Istanbul Modern had previously received a “Special Commendation” from EMYA in 2009.
